Gouged out of linoleum, the three exclusive designs for Loods5 Kunst are a variation on the Charming Chairs theme. Traditional techniques are combined with timeless materials. The visible structure tells a story of the lino printing process. The designs represent an ode to the design classics that Irene, with a background in illustrative and graphic design, approaches from technical and conceptual creativity.
The exclusive designs include:
Result Chair – Designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld in 1950, relaunched by HAY with Ahrend.
Wishbone Chair – Designed by Hans Wegner in 1949, for Carl Hansen & Søn.
Wire Chair – Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1951, for Herman Miller and Vitra.
